For Climbers

Rock-like feel, twice as long-lasting as PU holds

For Routesetters

As easy to handle as PU

For our Grand-children

100 % fossil-free, future-proof, non-persistent

🧐

Key Problem

Many don’t understand the difference between thermoplastics and thermosets. PU and UP holds cannot be melted and recycled.

Current holds use toxic chemicals and require protective measures in production. These thermosets persist indefinitely, eventually breaking down into microplastics.

🥰

New World Renewable Stone

On the Surface

  • Cool, rock-like feel
  • Long-lasting, skin-friendly grip

Under the Surface

  • Fossil-free, renewable materials
  • 100 % safe in production, processing, and disposal
  • Non-persistent, degradable within a generation
🤮

Old World Plastic

On the Surface

  • Plastic feel
  • Short lifespan (quick polishing)
  • New PU holds damage skin

Under the Surface

  • Fossil-dependent
  • Contains toxic substances
  • Cannot be recycled, only breaks down into microplastics

A little more specific

RSTTR formula vs. UP and PU
RSTTR formula PU polyurethane resin UP unsaturated polyester resin
for climbers cool, rock-like touch + –– ++
durable texturepermanently grippy ++ –– ++

The climbing hold industry casts shadows. Bigger than you’d think.

Our formula breaks the chains of fossil dependency.

  • 100 % natural materials
  • Mineral fillers (including natural pigments) bonded by biopolymer resin
  • Manufactured via conventional casting in silicone molds, with curing at 140 °C

Let’s plant some stones.

We’d love to find out how we can help you move towards a future-proof production.

Big ideas, bold projects

Here’s what we're working on next

  • Fossil-free construction plywood
  • Fossil-free, commercially attractive volumes
  • Holds and macros made from upcycled materials
  • Scalable hold and macro refurbishment

Got an idea?
Let us help you bring it to life.

Mindset

We prototype faster than others plan meetings.

And our curiosity is bottomless.

Skillset

Built on that mindset.

Toolset

When play gets serious, you need the right tools:

  • cutting-edge CAD licenses
    (Onshape, Solidworks, Fusion 360)
  • 3D printers from Bambu Lab to XXL-scale
  • Zünd cutter
  • Laser cutter
  • Waterjet cutter
  • 5-axis CNC
  • Vacuum Infusion & Hand Laminating facilities
  • Thermoformer
  • Autoclave
